UPDATE: Another great response for our Autism friendly screening.  Thank you all again for supporting it.

Our next show is TBC

With this type of showing the lights are left on low, the volume is turned down, future film trailers are removed and people can move around the cinema or make a noise as they feel comfortable. The films are recommended to anyone that would benefit from the subtle alterations made to the cinema auditorium because of their sensory differences and it allows them to attend newly released films with friends and family in an inclusive environment.

A spokesperson from Spectrum said ‘We are delighted to work in conjunction with the Plaza to host Autism friendly cinema screenings. After receiving request and enquiries from so many of the families that use our services, we are thrilled to be able to offer them a chance to enjoy such an occasion, tailored specifically to their needs. The Plaza have been sensitive to such facts and together we have modified this screening to be suitable for those on the autism spectrum. It’s set to be a great day and hopefully enjoyed by all!’
Just purchase your tickets as normal and on the day bring your paperwork regarding diagnosis along & a carer will be refunded.
